What happens after the first measurement

First see who the AI recommends. Then move ahead step by step.

4 AI systems and Google, every week. The market map shows every gap, the roadmap the next step.

  1. Step 1 · GEO

Who the AI recommends to your customers

12 buying questions to ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude. For each answer: who is named, in which position, and who is missing.

  2. Step 2 · Market map

24 topics, 12 of them missing

Every category or service by place with search volume, Google position and AI mentions. Plus what every spot would cost as a Google ad. The biggest gaps first.

  3. Step 3 · Roadmap

One click on the gap, one concrete step

Demand, cost per click, position and who is ahead there. Plus the action with instructions and a ready page brief that your team or agency implements directly.

  4. Step 4 · History

Monday, 4 am: new measurement, sharper steps

More data every week, more precise recommendations. Completed steps appear as markers, so you see what worked.

Named

  • a price comparison site
  • a retailer from your niche
  • a retailer
  • a trade portal
  • a competitor
  • OMR Reviews

  • a portal
  • my-hammer
  • gelbeseiten
  • 11880
  • Booking.com
  • HolidayCheck
  • a hotel in the area
And you? The first measurement shows

The AI does not recommend product ranges. It recommends answers.

The retailer with the data sheet gets named. Not the manufacturer.

The decisive question is not “Which tool?” but “Which alternative to X?”

Your client asks on Monday why ChatGPT does not name them. You already have the answer.

No competitor takes your spot. Portals do.

The AI does not book. It recommends, and it does so from reviews.

Every Monday, for 4 AI systems and Google

4The first step

Expand the category page with the most demand into an answer page. Rivly delivers the page brief with the real customer questions.

Create a readable specialist page for the product group with the most enquiries: load capacity, standard, delivery time, use case.

Measure the 3 most common alternative questions of your audience and close the missing comparison pages.

Create one project per client and take the 3 steps with the biggest effect into your reporting.

Take the service with the most demand in your most important place: create its own page and link your Google Business profile to it.

One page per travel occasion: family, wellness, hiking. With facilities, place and the questions guests ask the AI.

From the roadmap, with instructions and page brief

First answer in about 3 minutes

Asked “Which online shops for organic dog food are worth recommending?”, the AI quotes the page that answers price, delivery time and returns. A product list gets skipped, even with 200 items.

For “pallet racking with high load capacity” the AI reads standards, load capacity and delivery time where they are readable: at the retailer or in a trade portal. Your product, someone else’s name.

The AI answers alternative questions from comparison portals and mentions. Whoever is missing there is missing from the answer, however good the feature page is.

Rivly measures every client on its own: 4 AI systems, Google, competitors. The weekly report arrives Monday before 8 am, with numbers instead of opinions.

For “roofer in Cologne”, AI and Google often name my-hammer, gelbeseiten and 11880 first. A business shows up when its place page, Google Business profile and reviews fit together.

For “family hotel in the Allgäu with a pool” the AI reads booking portals and review texts, not your home page. Whoever brings occasion, place and facilities together readably gets named.

AI live check · in every plan

You ask the AI like your customer. Rivly shows who gets named.

ChatGPT and Gemini answer live, the way they answer your customers. You see the position, the sources and the next step. 10 to 20 questions per project per week, with your own data.

  1. Pick a customer question, set the place. The AI answers differently in Mannheim than in Frankfurt. Rivly asks from any place in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, down to the postcode.

  2. Compare the answers side by side. You see who gets named, in which position and which sources the AI read.

  3. Measure every week. A question that matters goes into your measurement plan. Rivly then measures it every Monday and shows whether you move up.

Everything marketing leads and owners want to know before the first measurement.

What exactly does Rivly measure?

Four channels: whether AI systems (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini) mention your brand, where you stand on Google for your search queries and whether the Google AI Overview cites you, which ads your competitors run on Meta and Google, and who appears in the press. AI answers, Google and press are measured every week, the ads once a month. All four channels form the Rivly Index from 0 to 100: AI visibility counts with 50 %, search visibility on Google with 35 %, advertising with 10 % and press with 5 %. Each channel is compared with the strongest value in your market; on Google that is your share of the search demand compared with the strongest other provider with the same offer in the same Google results. If a channel has no measurement, its weight is spread over the others.

How does the measurement in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini work?

Every week Rivly puts the same buying questions to these systems, worded the way customers ask them: “Which providers for … are worth recommending?” The answers are evaluated: is your brand mentioned, in which position, which competitors come before you, which sources are cited. You see the full answer text in the app.

How quickly do I see first results?

You see the first AI answer after about 3 minutes, while you are still setting up. The full overview is ready after about 30 minutes. From then on Rivly measures AI answers, Google and press again every Monday. Ads, Google Business, backlinks and the technology of your website are added on the first Monday of the month. You see changes from the previous week from the second measurement on, and the weekly report lands in your inbox every Monday before 8 am.

Do I need a credit card for the trial?

No. You start free of charge with 14 days of full access, no credit card, no automatic renewal without your consent. Only if you want to continue after the trial do you enter payment details.

What sets Rivly apart from Sistrix, Semrush or Peec AI?

SEO suites measure Google in breadth, AI visibility tools measure AI answers. Rivly measures both plus advertising and press, always in direct comparison with your three to five competitors, and brings it together in one index and in recommendations. If you have an SEO suite, you use Rivly alongside it. If you do not, Rivly gives you the view that counts for brand decisions.

Where does the advertising data come from, and where is my data processed?

Advertising data comes from the Meta Ad Library API and the Google Ads Transparency Center, both official and regulated by the EU Digital Services Act. All data is processed and stored on servers in Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is part of the terms.
